Michelle Orange became a PWR board director in Autumn 2024. She and her husband Simon became co-owners of Sale Sharks in 2016 and 4 years later they established Sale Sharks Women's team. 

Sale born and bred, Michelle actually worked in the club's commercial team in the year after the men's game turned professional. Back then in 1997, little did she expect to one day own the club, let alone sit on the boards of both the women and men's leagues. 

She is also a trustee of the Sale Sharks Foundation and outside rugby, Michelle is a Core Funder of the Royal Foundation and a supporter of Place2Be and BAFTA.
