All nine PWR teams are represented at the Six Nations, across five of the six nations. The competition will take place from the 11 April to 17 May, with a total of 103 players from the league representing their countries.
England’s 38-player Red Roses squad is made up entirely of PWR-based players, drawn from eight of the league’s nine clubs. They lead the way in representation, followed by fellow home nations Wales and Scotland, who have 28 and 23 PWR players respectively.
Ireland have 11 players currently competing in the PWR, while Italy have two. France are the only nation without any PWR representation.
At club level, Gloucester Hartpury top the list with 22 players selected, continuing their strong presence following their recent success. Bristol Bears are next with 17 players included in international squads.
Loughborough Lightning and Sale Sharks also boast strong representation with 14 and 13 players respectively. Harlequins (11), Saracens (9), Trailfinders Women (9), and Exeter Chiefs (7) contribute a combined total of 36 players. Leicester Tigers have one player representing her country during the tournament.
One of the standout fixtures for PWR representation will be England’s clash with Wales in Bristol on 25 April, where as many as 66 league players could feature across the matchday squads, facing off against familiar opponents.
