BIG GAME 17 CONFIRMED FOR SATURDAY 20TH DECEMBER

Harlequins have confirmed the date for the 17th edition of Club’s annual Big Game fixture at Allianz Stadium – Saturday 20th December.
Big Game is the largest annual club rugby event in the world. After selling out the fixture once more at Big Game 16, next seasons’ edition is expected to deliver on all fronts once again.
Supporters can expect two spectacular rugby matches, world-class entertainment and as ever, a fun-filled afternoon for the whole family at the Home of England Rugby.
The fixture will take place outside of its traditional Christmas to New Year period due to critical rail upgrades taking place between London Waterloo and Clapham Junction between 25th December 2025 and 4th January 2026.
The Club has worked in conjunction with Network Rail, the RFU, Premiership Rugby and PWR to identify a date that minimises disruption for our supporters and residents in the Twickenham area.
Harlequins Chief Executive, Laurie Dalrymple said: "Our annual Big Game continues to grow year after year, and Big Game 16 was our biggest and most successful yet, with 82,000 fans coming through the gates at Allianz Stadium. As a Club, we’re committed to delivering an unforgettable experience for our supporters and continuing to build Harlequins’ presence on the global stage.
“Organising an event of this scale involves a significant amount of planning and coordination. With a large proportion of our supporters traditionally travelling to the fixture by rail and limited parking at The Stoop, Allianz Stadium, and the surrounding areas, we’ve had to agree on an alternative date for the fixture due to the critical rail upgrades taking place.
“We’ve worked closely with the relevant authorities and the RFU to secure a new date still within the festive period, giving fans the chance to enjoy an exciting afternoon of world-class rugby and entertainment with family and friends in a truly iconic stadium.”
A Network Rail spokesperson said: “Between 25th December 2025 and 4th January 2026, engineers will be completing critical upgrades to the track between London Waterloo and Clapham Junction.
“We are working closely with our partners and local stakeholders to minimise disruption during this time, and we will provide further information about this work and alternative travel arrangements in due course once details have been finalised.”
Further information on ticketing and entertainment acts for Big Game 17 will be released in due course.
