Mark your calendars for these huge 25/26 fixtures!

The new PWR season is just around the corner, as fans across the league are already marking down their biggest fixtures in the calendar.

With the dates and times of all games before Christmas available now, it’s time you too start blocking off some weekends in your schedule.

Below are the match days you need to look out for in the first eight rounds of the 2025/26 PWR season.

Round 1 - Final Rematch on Opening Day

Gloucester-Hartpury wrapped up their ‘three-peat’ in a thrilling PWR final victory over Saracens that ended 34-19.

They will run it back in Round 1 of the new PWR season, as Saracens look to right some wrongs at Kingsholm on Sunday, 26th October at 15:00.

Fresh off the World Cup, a raft of international talent will take the field for both teams, including Red Roses stars Zoe Aldcroft, Mo Hunt, Marlie Packer and Zoe Harrison.

This is one you cannot miss.

Round 3 – Rejuvenated squads battle it out

Though Sale Sharks and Trailfinders Women finished ninth and seventh respectively last season, their business in the summer has been extraordinary.

Sale have brought in Red Roses Holly Aitchison and Amy Cokayne, while Trailfinders have signed their England teammate Meg Jones, and Black Ferns Alana Bremner and Georgia Ponsonby.

With plenty of other new faces for fans to see, this contest could be a wholly different prospect from last season, when Sharks host Trailfinders on 8th November at 15:00.

Round 4 – Chiefs look for play-off race revenge

As the 24/25 season entered its final act, Exeter Chiefs took on Harlequins in a clash that had massive play-off implications at Sandy Park.

The lead went one way then the other until finally, in the 74th minute, Ellie Kildunne scored, and Ella Cromack converted to down the hosts, with Quins ultimately reaching the play-offs in Exeter’s place.

On Sunday, 16th November at 12:30, Chiefs will look to flip the script when they host the west London club in round four.

Round 5 - derbies all over the place

London, the East Midlands and the West Country will all batten down the hatches in Round 5 when three PWR derbies take place over one weekend.

First Trailfinders Women host Saracens at Trailfinders Sports Park to decide some London bragging rights on Saturday, 29th November at 15:00.

At the same time, Leicester Tigers travel to cinch Stadium @ Franklin's Gardens to take on Loughborough Lightning in the East Midlands derby.

Finally, the West Country have their turn as champions, Gloucester-Hartpury travel to Ashton Gate to battle Bristol Bears on Sunday, 30th November at 12:30.

Three local clashes in one weekend, what more could you want?!

Round 8 – Big Game lights up Allianz Stadium

Back for another year, Big Game sees Harlequins take a short stroll over to Allianz Stadium from The Stoop for one of the biggest events in the rugby calendar.

In the last round before the Christmas break, Quins will host Bristol Bears in front of a bumper crowd that could well break records again.

Last season, a whopping 18,055 fans took their seats for the first game of the double header, which is a world record for attendance at a women's club rugby match.

The west London club are looking to break that record again, so mark down Saturday 20th December at 15:05 in your schedules and don’t miss out!
