Round 3 of the 2025-26 Premiership Women’s Rugby season was a memorable one, kicking off on Saturday 8th November at Morson Stadium. Sale Sharks fell short to an impressive Trailfinders Women side, who won 22-64, with ten tries and a bonus-point win!
Next up was Harlequins v Gloucester Hartpury, where the London side hoped to cause upset for the title holders. Despite early points from Gloucester, Harlequins led at half-time, with 12 points separating the sides. The second half saw a stronger performance from GH, scoring 19 crucial points and narrowly beating Harlequins 26-33.
Loughborough Lightning hosted Exeter Chiefs in the third game of the round, producing a high-intensity clash. An end-to-end battle saw the points shared, with the final score being 33-33, earning both teams a bonus point.
The final game of the weekend was an away trip for Saracens, who faced Bristol Bears at Shaftesbury Park. Bears were first to score, but the North London team came back firing, scoring 33 points from five tries and four conversions. The full-time score was 12-33 to Saracens, a huge victory bumping them up to second in the table.
Meg Jones was the round’s top points scorer, earning 15 points for Trailfinders Women, from one try and five conversions. Maisy Allen of Exeter Chiefs topped the latest round with 28 attacking ruck entries and 24 successful tackles (both 1st in round).
