PWR Round 4 in Numbers

Round 4 of the 2025-26 Premiership Women’s Rugby season provided some shock results and top tier entertainment! On Saturday 15th November at StoneX Stadium, Saracens hosted Leicester Tigers for the first game of the round. The North London team secured an impressive 79-5 result over Tigers, their strongest win of the season.

Gloucester Hartpury were back at Kingsholm for their fixture against Sale Sharks. It was the Sharks that bit first, with a try from Erica Jarrell-Searcy, successfully converted by Holly Aitchison, giving them an early lead. Though, it was the champions who came out victorious again, winning 40-24 at full-time, adding another to their winning streak.

In West London, Trailfinders Women came up against Bristol Bears in a heated clash. Bears kept their defence tight, managing to hold off a strong Trailfinders side, but Rachel Malcolm broke through to score the first try of the game. Despite their attempt to fight back, Trailfinders were the stronger team, winning 45-19 at full-time.

Exeter Chiefs hosted the final game of the weekend against Harlequins on Sunday 16th November at Sandy Park, in front of an impressive crowd of 2,314! It was a strong start for the Chiefs, who led 19-0 at half-time after three tries and two successful conversions. Harlequins came back stronger after the break, edging the sides closer together, but in the end, their efforts weren’t enough as Exeter Chiefs took home the points with a 26-19 win.

Amelia MacDougall was the top points scorer of the round, earning 19 points for Saracens from one try and seven successful conversions. Maisy Allen made 28 successful tackles for Exeter Chiefs, making her the best tackler of the round!
