Six Nations catch-up

Here’s how things are shaping up:
The Red Roses sit top of the table with 15 points, earned through three strong bonus-point wins against Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
France are level on points with the World Champions but sit second on points difference. Their tally comes from bonus-point victories over Italy, Wales and Ireland.
Italy are in third place with 6 points, taking a bonus-point win against Scotland and a losing bonus-point against Ireland.
Ireland follow with 5 points from their bonus-point win against Italy and will be looking to climb the table in their remaining home games against Wales and Scotland.
Scotland come next after a challenging tournament so far. A strong opening win against Wales earned them 4 points, but defeats to England and Italy have pushed them down the standings.
Wales sit in sixth, with three losses from three. They face Ireland away and Italy at home in their final fixtures, hoping to get points on the board.
Standout performers:
Sarah Bern (England & Bristol Bears) is the tournament’s leading try scorer with four tries, including braces against Ireland and Scotland.
Ellie Kildunne (England & Harlequins) leads for carries (54) and metres made (393), and also tops the offloads chart with 9.
Meg Jones (England & Trailfinders Women) has beaten the most defenders, with 18.
Kelsey Jones (Wales & Gloucester Hartpury) leads the lineout stats with 35 throws won.
Lleucu George (Wales & Gloucester Hartpury) has the most kicks in play (58) and retained kicks (6).
Silvia Turani (Italy & Harlequins) has recorded the most dominant tackles, with 6.
Zoe Harrison (England & Saracens) has a 100% goal-kicking record, successfully converting all 15 attempts.
Meryl Smith (Scotland & Bristol Bears) has the highest retained kick percentage at 20%.
Amy Cokayne (England & Sale Sharks) boasts a 100% lineout success rate.
Upcoming fixtures:
Round 4 kicks off at 14:00 on Saturday 9th May at Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi in Italy, where Italy host England. England have won the last three meetings, averaging 51 points per game, while Italy have averaged just 3.
France then travel to the Hive Stadium in Edinburgh to face Scotland at 16:15. France have won the last three encounters, averaging 36 points, although Scotland pushed them close in their last home meeting (5-15).
Ireland host Wales at Affidea Stadium in Belfast for the final match of the round at 18:30. Ireland have the edge with recent wins, but Wales remain a dangerous side capable of causing problems.
