Tickets on sale now for SuperPWR Weekend

With Allianz Premiership Women’s Rugby’s SuperPWR weekend quickly approaching, here is all you need to know as tickets go on sale for the landmark event.

SATURDAY 2 MARCH

Gloucester-Hartpury v Exeter Chiefs (Kingsholm Stadium) - 3:05pm

To kick-start SuperPWR Weekend, we will see a repeat of last season’s final take place when Sean Lynn’s unbeaten Gloucester-Hartpury host Exeter Chiefs at Kingsholm Stadium.

Due to be played in front of the TNT Sports cameras, this clash between two top four teams is set to deliver plenty of entertainment from the first whistle to the last.

International stars will be on show across the pitch, as the likes of Natasha ‘Mo’ Hunt, Claudia MacDonald, Emma Sing and Maisy Allen go toe-to-toe in a must-watch West Country encounter.

Trailfinders Women v Bristol Bears (Trailfinders Sports Ground) - 5pm 

Closing out Saturday’s entertainment is an encounter between Trailfinders Women and Bristol Bears at Trailfinders Sports Ground.

Dave Ward’s Bristol will be hoping to tighten their grasp on the top four with a positive result in the capital, while Giselle Mather’s Trailfinders will look to carry on their thrilling start to life in the Allianz PWR with another impressive home outing.

The match will be streamed live on the Premiership Women’s Rugby YouTube channel and TikTok Sports and is sure to have fireworks as two potent attacking teams play one another as part of a doubleheader in West London.

SUNDAY 3 MARCH

Saracens Women v Leicester Tigers (StoneX Stadium) - 1pm

The second day of SuperPWR Weekend will bring Leicester Tigers to StoneX Stadium to play three-time PWR champions, Saracens, which will be broadcast live on the Premiership Women’s Rugby YouTube channel and TikTok Sports.

Leading the league for much of the season Alex Austerberry’s Saracens have set the pace in the competition, only losing one game in 10 outings so far this season and are in hot pursuit of another league title.

Over the course of this season, Vicky Macqueen’s Tigers have increasingly grown in confidence. Recently picking up victories against Sale Sharks and Loughborough Lightning in a hotly contested East Midlands derby, it sets this match up as an intriguing meeting at Sunday lunchtime.

Loughborough Lightning v Sale Sharks (cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens) - 3pm

Closing the curtain on SuperPWR Weekend on TNT Sports will be Loughborough Lightning’s arm wrestle with Sale Sharks at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens.

In Round 11, Loughborough set a club record attendance of 1703 in Northampton as Nathan Smith’s team lost to Leicester Tigers.

The visit of Sale to Northamptonshire gives Lightning the opportunity to get back to winning ways in front of home support.

Rachel Taylor’s Sale Sharks will be hoping that their hard-nosed, hardworking style of play can stifle Loughborough Lightning and bring a positive outcome with it.
