They remain the only unbeaten side in the league, but it looked as though that perfect record was in jeopardy when Beatrice Rigoni slotted a penalty on the edge of the Hartpury 22 to give the visitors an early lead.
Sharks held that narrow advantage for much of the first half, but fell behind when a dominant Gloucester scrum sent the ball loose in the dead ball area, Sarah Beckett touching it down to score.
Another dominant scrum help set up Kathryn Buggy who powered over from close range to give the hosts a seven-point lead at the break.
Gloucester were quickest out of the blocks in the second period and made their momentum count when Kelsey Jones sprung through a gap and offloaded to Steph Else who finished under the posts.
The bonus-point came not long after courtesy of Alex Matthews, who crossed over minutes on from being brought on as a replacement.
To close the match out, Jones turned from provider to scorer, steering an ominous Gloucester rolling maul over the line, wrapping up a successful afternoon for the hosts which puts them four points clear at the top of the table.
