PWR Final Preview

The PWR Final is upon as Saracens prepare to battle London rivals Trailfinders Women to decide this year’s champion at The Twickenham Stoop.

Both sides have been in red hot form to finish the year, with Sarries chasing their fourth domestic title, and first since the launch of the PWR in 2023, while Trailfinders look for their first.

The monumental contest will be available to watch live on TNT Sports and BBC iPlayer. You do not want to miss this.

Sunday 28 June

Saracens v Trailfinders Women - Twickenham Stoop 3pm - TNT Sports and BBC iPlayer

Saracens will be the favourites having finished second in the table in comparison to Trailfinders’ fourth.

The North Londonders have also never lost to their noisy neighbours, and will be full of confidence heading into the final at the stoop.

They qualified for the big show by knocking off Exeter Chiefs in a nail-biting 40-38 semi-final at home.

Jess Breach showed her immense quality, finishing off a 40m break to finish off the host’s comeback from a 31-28 half-time deficit.

Amelia MacDougall will earn her 50th cap for Saracens if she comes off the bench in the Final.

Trailfinders, however, are also riding high after an exceptional finish to the season.

The West Londoners beat reigning champions Gloucester Hartpury in back-to-back games, first qualifying for the semi-finals, before upsetting The Circus at home to reach the final.

Meg Jones was excellent throughout both contests and will be crucial to all Trailfinders efforts on Sunday.

Scrum-half Brooke Bradley has been brought back into the fold after a lengthy injury lay-off, giving Trailfinders’ bench a boost.
